Use your personal model in ChatGPT, Claude, and Codex

Connect your WGS-derived personal model once, then use it for questions about identity, belonging, everyday choices, goals, and the parts of your genome that matter to you.

Connect

ChatGPT on the web: on a Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Education account, turn on Developer mode under Settings → Security and login. Then open Plugins, select +, and create a developer-mode app named Genome Computer using the MCP URL below. In a new conversation, choose Developer mode from the + menu and select Genome Computer.

Claude: open Customize → Connectors, select +, then Add custom connector and enter the same URL. Connect Genome Computer, then enable it for a conversation with + → Connectors. Custom connectors are available on Free (one custom connector), Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise; a Team or Enterprise owner must add it for the organisation first.

The first protected tool call opens the Genome Computer OAuth flow. Sign in to your Portal account, choose one of the genomes explicitly attached to that account as the default, and approve access. Portal accounts and genome access are currently set up in Mission Control.

Already connected? In ChatGPT, refresh Genome Computer from its app details, then disconnect and reconnect its authorisation. In Claude, remove the old custom connector, add it again, and reconnect. This loads the new tools and lets you approve living-context read and update permissions.

Privacy boundary

Genome access and living-context access are approved separately. The server reads only an authorised bundle and returns bounded, relevant results; it does not stream the full raw genome by default. A conversation is not copied wholesale. Only explicit facts proposed through the context tools can be saved, and you can review corrections and revoke OAuth access at any time.
